Founded in 1972, Pride Packing Co. remains committed to the original philosophy of Leo and Mary Spada (the founders of our parent company, United Salad Co.): “Establish a reputation of honesty and loyalty and a commitment to providing the customer with the best quality product.” The best way to accomplish this was an easy formula for Leo and Mary: “Hard Work + Preparation + Opportunity = Success.” This formula is still embodied in our company today and has provided the groundwork for our continued growth and success.

Pride Packing Co. grows, packs, stores and sells soft fruit and apples in Washington's Yakima Valley. During the past 5 years, our company has tripled in size to over 3,000 acres. With our growth, we have remained flexible and are capable of producing custom-designed packages for our customers.

Our focus has been in the soft fruit industry - specifically peaches, nectarines, apricots, pears and cherries. Various apple varieties are also grown and packed. Current shipping volume is in excess of 2.5 million packages on an annual basis that includes worldwide distribution.
