Fresh From the Orchards

At Pride Packing Co. we have freshness down to a science. In fact, our packing plant voluntarily meets Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points or HACCP standards. This quality control program starts in our orchards where workers are trained in food safety, chemical application and involves self-inspection of critical
control points such as temperature, cross contamination and sanitation. Strict temperature controls are observed, from the time the product is picked through packing, storage and delivery. We are also working with Primus Labs to continue to assure a
proactive food safety program. These rigorous handling standards enable us to confidently promise you and your customers unequaled quality and freshness.

Our packing facility includes a variety of specialized equipment to
handle the washing, sorting, labeling and packing of our different types of fruit. Each type of fruit produced requires different specifications for the proper and gentle handling of the product. Our 60,000 square foot packing facility was completed in 1998
and contains the newest, state-of-the art components. This multi-million dollar investment ensures the highest quality and competitiveness out of the Yakima Valley.
